AMSEA has a large inventory of safety equipment, listed below, that is available for use in cold water and outdoor safety training by AMSEA-certified instructors.
Equipment may be borrowed only for training that meets all of the following criteria:
To borrow AMSEA's cold water safety and survival equipment for use in safety training, fill in your name, contact information, and information about your upcoming training. Also, you must read the AMSEA Equipment Loan Terms and indicate your acceptance of them. Then use the quick links below or scroll down the form, check the boxes or fill in the quantity and sizes needed next to the items you'd like to borrow. Finally, click the "Submit Form" button at the bottom of the page.
Once we receive your request, we will confirm availability by e-mail or phone and ship the equipment to you. You are responsible for shipping all items back to AMSEA at your expense.
If there is training equipment or material that you need but do not see listed, or if you have questions about equipment, please send an email to AMSEA's Gear Department.
PLEASE NOTE: As a borrower, YOU (and no one else) are responsible for returning gear in the same condition as you received it. There is a fee of $25.00 per item for any gear returned wet, dirty, or needing maintenance beyond that of normal use!

AMSEA will send equipment to you in good working condition. AMSEA's equipment gets a great deal of use throughout the year. In order to ensure its long life and availability to others, AMSEA requires you to agree to the following terms prior to borrowing equipment.

Immersion suits are for training use only and are not to be used to meet USCG regulation carriage requirements aboard any vessel.
Because they are intended for training purposes only, AMSEA immersion suits are not guaranteed not to leak. We strive to maintain the suits but even brand new suits may leak.
PFDs are for training use only and are not to be used to meet USCG regulation carriage requirements aboard any vessel.
*CO2 cartridges cannot be shipped by air. Inflatable PFDs are shipped without CO2 cartridges.
