AMSEA is funded by members like you, the State of Alaska DCCED, the USCG, and NIOSH. We rely on training statistics from you to obtain grant and contract funds that keep AMSEA operating. This Funding allows us to promote courses, send training equipment and other supplies, provide curriculum, support instructor training, sponsor traveling instructors and students, and pay overhead expenses. Please help AMSEA continue our life-saving mission by submitting the information needed by our funders.
A U.S. Coast Guard directive requires AMSEA to notify the USCG of classes before they happen. Please notify us with as much advance notice as possible regarding Drill Conductor courses that receive support from the USCG contract. Classes submitted with less than two weeks’ notice are unlikely to qualify for USCG funding. Contact us on a case-by-case basis to see about exemptions. We will do our best to find a way to provide the funding necessary to support your course.
