Washington Sea Grant is conducting an AMSEA Fishing Vessel Drill Conductor class in Gig Harbor, Washington. This marine safety training course is offered at a reduced cost of $50 to commercial fishermen thanks to support from the Seattle Fishermen's Memorial Fund and Washington Sea Grant.

  • Immersion Suits and PFDs

  • Abandon Ship Procedures

  • Cold-Water Survival Skills

  • In-the-Water Skills Practice Session

 

AMSEA Fishing Vessel Drill Conductor classes meet the U.S. Coast Guard training requirements for drill conductors on commercial fishing vessels, 46 CFR 28.270 (c).
