AMSEA is offering a Fishing Vessel Drill Conductor workshop in Neah Bay, Washington. Instructor Eric Olsson will cover these topics:

  • Man Overboard Recovery

  • Firefighting

  • Immersion Suits and PFDs

  • Emergency Drills

  • Helicopter Rescue

  • Life Rafts

  • Abandon Ship Procedures


This course meets the US Coast Guard training requirements for drill conductors on documented commercial fishing vessels operating beyond the federal boundary line. This course is offered at no cost to commercial fishermen thanks to support from the USCG and NIOSH.
