AMSEA is conducting a three day U. S. Coast Guard-accepted Marine Safety Instructor Training (MSIT) refresher in Newport, Oregon starting on April 3 and concluding on April 5. The MSIT provides practical, hands-on experience in marine survival equipment usage and procedures.


This workshop is an intensive, train-the-trainer program. It is recommended for anyone who wants to provide required Emergency Drill Conductor training for commercial fishermen, or others who need the skills to respond quickly and effectively to an emergency. It prepares participants to become U.S. Coast Guard-accepted Marine Safety Instructors and is taught by experienced mariners.
