AMSEA Executive Director Takes a Sabbatical

Executive Director, Jerry Dzugan, will take a four-month sabbatical from his work at AMSEA beginning September 2, 2016. During his time away from work, Jerry plans travel to New England and the Southwest and to spend time camping and hiking.

We wish Jerry a restful and renewing sabbatical. Funding for Jerry's sabbatical has been provided by the Rasmuson Foundation.

In Jerry's absence, Lily Herwald will take over as Interim Executive Director. Lily brings years of successful non-profit organization management experience from her six years as Executive Director at Sitka's community radio station, KCAW, and six years as a Program Planner and Proposal Writer at the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium. Most recently, Lily has provided interim management services to non-profit organizations through her company, Trestle, LLC. Lily is an experienced recreational boater. Welcome aboard, Lily!
