AMSEA is conducting a five day U. S. Coast Guard-accepted Marine Safety Instructor Training (MSIT) in Seattle, Washington starting at 8:00 AM on February 11 and concluding at 10:00 AM on February 16. The MSIT provides practical, hands-on experience in survival equipment use and procedures.
This marine safety training course is an intensive, "train-the-trainer" program. It is recommended for anyone who wants to provide marine safety training to commercial fishermen and other mariners. It prepares participants to become U.S. Coast Guard-accepted Marine Safety Instructors, authorized to teach Coast Guard-accepted Drill Conductor courses to commercial fishermen. This course is taught by experienced mariners.
