AMSEA is conducting a five and a half-day U. S. Coast Guard-accepted Marine Safety Instructor Training (MSIT) in Seward, Alaska starting at 8:00 AM on April 23 and concluding at 10:00 AM on April 28. The MSIT provides practical, hands-on experience in survival equipment use and procedures.
This workshop is an intensive, train-the-trainer program. It is recommended for anyone who wants to provide required Emergency Drill Conductor training for commercial fishermen, or others who need the skills to respond quickly and effectively to an emergency. It prepares participants to become U.S. Coast Guard-accepted Marine Safety Instructors and is taught by experienced mariners.
