AMSEA is conducting a five and a half-day U. S. Coast Guard-accepted Marine Safety Instructor Training (MSIT) in Sitka, Alaska starting on September 23 and concluding on September 28. The MSIT provides practical, hands-on experience in marine survival equipment usage and procedures.
This workshop is an intensive, train-the-trainer program. It is recommended for anyone who wants to provide required Emergency Drill Conductor training for commercial fishermen, or others who need the skills to respond quickly and effectively to an emergency. It prepares participants to become U.S. Coast Guard-accepted Marine Safety Instructors and is taught by experienced mariners.
