AMSEA is conducting a five and a half-day U. S. Coast Guard-accepted Marine Safety Instructor Training (MSIT) in Seward, Alaska starting at 8:00 AM on April 25 and concluding on April 30. The MSIT provides practical, hands-on training in survival equipment use and procedures.
This class is an intensive, train-the-trainer program. It is recommended for anyone who wants to provide required Emergency Drill Conductor training for commercial fishermen, or others who need the skills to respond quickly and effectively to an emergency. It prepares participants to become U.S. Coast Guard-accepted Marine Safety Instructors and is taught by experienced mariners.
