The Rainforest Survival Series are educational sessions aimed to give participants skills that will aid their chances of survival in outdoor emergencies during wilderness exploration. Different sessions will teach different skills throughout the year!

Sessions on Sept. 6th and 7th are as follows:

*PFD Roundup
*Emergency Bag Preparation
*Knot Tying
~~Bring water bottle and inside shoes!

Saturday, Sept. 7th – Sandy Beach Shelter #1 @ 11a – 1p
*Shelter Building
*Rescue Signaling
*Flares
*Fire Building
~~ Bring Boots and Raingear!


All Rainforest Survival Series are geared towards kids ages 5 – 18 ~ But parents and guardians are always encouraged to attend to promote a cohesive outdoor emergency preparedness plan and understanding for the entire family!
