AMSEA is offering a FREE Fishing Vessel Drill Conductor and Fishermen's First Aid and Safety Training (FFAST) course in Santa Barbara for commercial fishermen, made possible by support from NIOSH, the U.S. Coast Guard, California Sea Grant, and AMSEA members.
The FFAST portion combines an HSI Basic First Aid/CPR/AED certification (USCG Approved) with additional fishing-specific, boat-based scenarios and skills. Lunch and snacks will be provided, and the course will cover essential safety topics to improve on-the-water preparedness and response.
