Upcoming Alaska Drowning Prevention and Data webinar

The CDC Foundation and partners will host a webinar to discuss Alaska Drowning Prevention next week Friday, May 29, 2026 from 12-1 PM (AKST), 4-5 PM (EDT).


This webinar will present data trends in fatal drowning throughout Alaska and improvements in data collection. There will be a panel focused on drowning prevention efforts, limitations in current data collection, cold-water safety education, and strategies to reach high risk populations.
